James Hong

Southern California Bankruptcy Law

James grew up in the heart of the Koreatown District in Los Angeles, CA and currently resides in Corona, CA.

He attended the University of California, Irvine and majored in Biological Sciences. James pondered between a career in medicine and law for quite some time before finally deciding to take the plunge into law school. He then went on to study and receive and J.D. at Trinity Law School in Santa Ana, CA.

James clerked for a short time at the Pacific Justice Institute and extensively at the San Bernardino District Attorney's Office before going into bankruptcy law.

From his experience working in the civil and criminal field, James considers the area of bankruptcy law to be fresh, invigorating, and noble because of the application of the law to real, honest, and hardworking people. He takes pride in his work and considers it a joy to help people get a "fresh start."
