Dog Bite Attacks
Southern California Law
Dog Bite Attacks represent some of the most gruesome personal injuries that are suffered, particularly where there is a child involved.
California has a strict liability dog statute that states that the owner of a dog is liable for damages inflicted if his or her dog bites a person who is either in a public place or lawfully in a private place, including the property of the owner of the dog.
In all dog bite cases, it is essential that all measures be taken promptly to preserve evidence, investigate the incident in question, and to enable physicians and other expert witnesses to thouroughly evaluate any injuries.
