Dog Bite Attacks represent some of the most gruesome personal injuries that are suffered, particularly where there is a child involved.

California has a strict liability dog statute that states that the owner of a dog is liable for damages inflicted if his or her dog bites a person who is either in a public place or lawfully in a private place, including the property of the owner of the dog.
