A non-judicial foreclosure will now require an additional step for most foreclosures in the State of California commencing September 6, 2008.  This new requirement, under California Civil Code 2923.5, lengthens the foreclosure process by 30 to 45 days, and may even invalidate many foreclosures unless the lender strictly complies. Stay tuned, more on this blog to be published soon.
